Are you a stay at home mum? Currently yes, however I am due to go back to work very soon.
Would you have it any other way? Yes! I loved being a stay at home mum to Frankie, however I find being a stay at home mum to two children very challenging and don't feel as though I am a good enough mum when Im not working. I feel as though my days are spent shouting/moaning and nagging. I feel I am a much better mum when I work and have a much better life balance. I also look forward to spending my time with the kids more when I have been working. Equally, I get very frustrated that the cost of childcare makes it difficult for mums who want to work to do so. If you aren't entitled to tax credits then it is almost pointless going to work (as you are working solely to cover a childcare bill).
Do you co-sleep? Yes, I co-slept with Noa and loved it. I don't believe all the nonsense that you shouldn't let a child sleep in your bed, no 20 year old still sleeps with their parents! Noa has just gone into her own cot, which I didn't want, however, she is a climber and it was becoming quite dangerous her climbing out of our bed. Frankie never took to co-sleeping, and occasionally comes in our bed but never sleeps as well as she does in her own bed.
How many kids do you plan on having? Just the 2 I think, as it stands at the minute I find 2 hard enough work BUT I can imagine in a couples years I will get broody hahaha.
Date night? How many times a month? Hahaha I wish!!! We have said that we NEED to do more stuff just the 2 of us, even if its in the day time.
Your childs favorite show? Noa loves the Teletubbies and Frankie likes play-doh surprise.
One thing you bought before your baby and never used? Nothing as I researched everything, BUT I saw them selling baby wipe warmers everywhere when we lives in America and can only imagine many people buy them and never use them!
Your childs favorite food? Burritos, Frankies tollerance of spicy food is incredible!!
How many cars does your family have? 1 at the minute but we desperately need another, so we are saving up for another one.
Weight gain before pregnancy , during, after and now? 9 stone 11lb before pregnancy with frankie, went up to 10stone 11lb full term, went down to 8stone 10 after having her and stayed that weight since. I put on 20lb with Noa and am currently between 8stone 7lb and 8 stone 10lb.
Dream holiday with your kids? Taking the kids (when they are old enough to appreciate it) traveling around asia and on to Australia.
How has your life changed since your baby has been born? Having a child changes every aspect of your life, you are not a priority any more. I don't think there is any part of you that it doesn't change.
Finish the sentence "It makes my heart melt to see..." My girls playing together.
Where do you shop for your kids? Sainsburys do some great kids clothes, I love Next too and Ted Baker for fancier clothes.
Favorite makeup and skincare products? I love love LOVE Benefit and get most of my makeup from them.
Huggies and Pampers? Neither, we use Aldi Mamia and also cloth diapers too.
Have you always wanted children? Yes, although I went through a phase at about 22 when I didn't feel I would ever want children. This all changed after I was told I had endometriosis and was a decreased chance of having children.
Best part about being a mum? The little moments, the milestones, the loves and cuddles and quality time as a family.
